TLM deploys revolutionary new head office solution for HKS Retail Copy

The customer

UK Top 50 Indie HKS Retail was established in 1984 with the operation of their first filling station at Ashby Road, Coalville. Today HKS Retail runs an estate of over 60 sites and is one of the most well-known and respected names in the independent fuel retail industry.

The challenge

Running a large estate of forecourts and their respective stores and hospitality offerings is a complicated process; keeping track of core operations, finances and business performance is essential. As HKS Retail’s estate grew they had an ever-increasing need for a centralised head office system that would enable them to simplify, streamline and tightly control their processes from one unified finance and operations system.

The solution

evoHeadOffice is built on the Microsoft Dynamics Navision technology stack with convenience and fuel specific modules developed by the team at TLM subsidiary, Ocean Dynamics. Supporting business processes such as finance, promotions, stock control and logistics, the system gives independent groups like HKS Retail greater control and visibility across their estates, enabling them to use their data to make smarter decisions and optimise margins.

The project

Having followed the development of TLM’s head office solution with interest, the HKS Directors were keen to trial the solution as soon as they saw it working for pilot group, Golden Cross. They decided to first implement evoHeadOffice in seven newly acquired sites; the integration of the new sites into the wider group needed to be done quickly and seamlessly, and the TLM team worked tirelessly to meet the deadline set by the acquisition.

Looking to the future
